Allotments
The allotments go back at least as far as 1890 and can be seen on old maps as " Allotment Gardens ".
The village allotments are situated behind the Circle on Occupation Road. There are allotments available and several new residents have taken them up
. 
The allotment society provides the produce for the excellent Harvest Festival auction in aid of the younger and older residents of the village - over £1000 last year!
