Primary - Wentworth Primary School, Wentworth is the school for the Harley area, and is a small school near to the old church in Wentworth Village.

Secondary - Wath-upon-Dearne Comprehensive (Wath Comp) Has an increasingly good reputation catering for about 1800 pupils from a large catchment area from Y7 to Sixth Form. Pupils from Harley are entitled to free bus travel, which leaves Occupation Road (top and bottom ends) about 08:10 am each morning. It returns about 16:00 ( 4pm ) .
Wath Comprehensive School : a Language College was last inspected on 10 Feb 2003. The latest Ofsted Report.

Social Club.
Raises it’s own funds to provide for OAP’s and children within the village. A major source of funding is the Harvest Festival, which is held in the Horse Shoe Pub. This event is massively supplied with produce from allotment holders.
Library Bus.
The library bus run by Rotherham Council comes to Harley on a Wednesday
each week. Books, videos, information -very helpful friendly staff.
